I focus on children as they are which means no forced smiles and no awkward poses. Sessions are relaxed and playful so students can feel at ease, and we keep lighting and backgrounds simple and flattering for a timeless, fine-art look. There is the option for the school to choose a natural outdoors background or a simple black backdrop.
You still get all the hallmarks of a professional service - reliable scheduling, organised galleries, and on-time delivery - without the conveyor-belt feel of large corporate providers.

What services do you offer?
I run a fully online workflow. Each family receives a secure gallery for ordering, organised by grade/class/homeroom (or whatever grouping suits your school). Families choose their favourites and order directly from the gallery.
What makes Fine Art School Portraits different?
My portraits are simple, authentic, and timeless - no cheesy backdrops or forced smiles. I use either a clean black or outdoors natural background and focus on genuine expression (we can discuss this and what the school's preference is).

What do families receive?
Each child is photographed with 2–5 images shown in both colour and black & white. Families select the image(s) they want printed. I also offer boutique products like canvas wraps and professional prints. Before photo day, schools receive a PDF with prep tips and an ordering guide to share with families.
How do orders and delivery work?
All orders are placed online. Finished prints are delivered to the school - typically within four weeks of photo day.
What do you bring on photo day?
I supply all required equipment and staffing.
Do schools get digital files?
Yes. Schools receive high-resolution files for yearbooks, websites, ID cards, and general school communications.
Who handles parent questions?
I do. Families contact me directly with product or ordering queries.
Do you photograph staff and classes?
Yes - staff portraits and class photos can be included based on your school’s needs.
Can you customise your service?
Absolutely. I'm happy to tailor the process to fit your school.
Are the images expensive?
