School Photography FAQs
What services do you offer?
I run a fully online workflow. Each family receives a secure gallery for ordering, organised by grade/class/homeroom (or whatever grouping suits your school). Families choose their favourites and order directly from the gallery.
My goal is to create beautiful, natural portraits with an artistic touch, while making photo day a relaxed and enjoyable experience for the children.
What makes my Fine Art School Portraits different?
My portraits are simple, natural and timeless. No cheesy backdrops, awkward posing or forced smiles. With a background in early childhood teaching, I’m very experienced in working with young children and understand that every child responds differently to having their photograph taken.
Using beautiful natural light and minimal styling, I create portraits with a soft, fine-art feel that reflects each child as they are.
On photo day, I’ll work in a way that is consistent with the style you see throughout my portfolio. Some children are happy to pause for a portrait, while others would much rather keep moving, exploring or playing. That’s completely okay. I follow each child’s lead, giving them the space to feel comfortable and photographing them naturally as their personality unfolds.

Privacy, Image Handling and Child Safety

What do families receive?
Each child is photographed with a minimum of 4 photos delivered in their online gallery. Families select the image(s) they want printed. I also offer boutique products like canvas wraps and professional prints. Before photo day, schools receive all the information requiredd to share with families.
How do orders and delivery work?
All orders are placed online. High resolution digital images are delivered instantly. Finished prints are delivered to the school or centre typically within four weeks of photo day.
What do you bring on photo day?
I supply all required equipment and staffing.
Who handles parent questions?
I do. Families contact me directly with product or ordering queries.
Do you photograph staff and classes?
Yes - staff portraits and class photos can be included based on your school’s needs.
Can you customise your service?
Absolutely. I'm happy to tailor the process to fit your school.
Are the images expensive?
